The Natrona County School District Board of Trustees approved four wireless infrastructure upgrade bids during their Monday, Feb. 25 board meeting.

The school board awarded CPU Connecting Point’s bids to upgrade the wireless infrastructure at Cottonwood Elementary, Manor Heights Elementary, Evansville Elementary and Midwest school.

CPU Connecting Point’s bid to upgrade Cottonwood Elementary totals $77,943. Their bid for the Midwest School upgrade was $57,503.

The Evansville Elementary upgrade bid was $50,015. The Manor Heights Elementary amount was $49,650.

The school district issued a request for proposals to upgrade the wireless infrastructure, and the CPU Connecting Point bids were the only bids that were fully compliant with the requests, according to board documents.

In addition to the wireless infrastructure upgrades, the school board also awarded Alliance Electric LLC’s $43,922 bid for electrical improvements at Natrona County High School Mustang Activity and Community Center.
