Her early years in Casper were marked by a unique upbringing, spent in a converted boxcar at the railyard, a testament to her family’s resourcefulness. Even after retirement, her entrepreneurial spirit shone through as she co-founded two home health care agencies with her daughter, Lori, making a profound and lasting impact on the lives of countless clients.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sandy was a passionate gardener, a seasoned traveler with a particular fondness for Germany, and a deeply devoted member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Her commitment to the VFW was unwavering, culminating in her service as Department of Wyoming President – a tribute to her husband’s service and her own dedication to veterans.
