Residents are soaking up the summer sun and everything Casper has to offer from community spaces to live music, and Casper Mountain to Alcova Lake. In our new feature, Recap, our editors select Instagram images that tell the story of the last 24 hours in the Oil City through the eyes of Casper residents.

It was an honor to have my bronze sculpture ‘’COWBOY CODE ‘’ be presented today to Casper Police officer Jacob Carlson. This year recipient of the The Mick & Susie McMurry Cowboy Code Try Award at today’s Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming Award and Recognition Breakfast The award is given in the memory of Mick McMurry and to honor those who give back to the community. It was also announced the monumental bronze ‘’DARE TO DREAM BIG’’ will be staying forever at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming due to the generosity of George Bryce, John Jorgensen, and the Casper Rotary Club Foundation. The first thing I wrote on the Dare to Dream Big chalkboard was that the sculpture have a permanent home at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming and my dream came true! chrisnavarro.com #casper #boysandgirlsclub
