Casper Fire-EMS and Casper Police were observed on scene, after a gas leak was reported just after 1:00 pm, Monday, October 22nd.
A Casper Fire-EMS spokesperson on scene said that a gasline had ruptured in tge area of North Center and J Streets, in Casper.
Black Hills Energy was reportedly on scene as of approximately 1:20 pm.
Emergency crews had mostly dispersed by 1:30 pm.
Casper Fire-EMS personnel say that the roadway is already blocked off for road construction. But asks residents to avoid the immediate area during repairs.
Repairs could take up to two hours.
