On February 15, 2018, The Natrona County Sheriff’s Office was contacted by the Natrona County School District concerning a suspicious vehicle in the Bar Nunn area. This, according to a statement released by NCSO officials
The NCSO says that students from Bar Nunn School reported a brown or tan minivan, with big letters “Chevrolet” on the back of the van, following them home after school on February 14, 2017. The report was made to school employees.
The students later informed the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office there were two persons in the vehicle with beards.
Anyone with information concerning the incident is asked to contact the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office at 307-235-9282.
Upon receiving the report, NCSD notified the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office. Local law enforcement will have an increased presence in the area.
A statement from the Natrona County School District asked citizens to be vigilant:
“As always, we ask you to remain diligent and keep an eye out for any suspicious behavior or individuals. Please contact local law enforcement with reports of any suspicious activity. NCSD’s dedication to the safety of students and staff remains our primary focus. This includes working with local law enforcement to keep students and staff safe.”
