Sheriff’s officials have said that two individuals, who each failed to return from scheduled outings from the Casper Re-Entry Center, have been returned to custody.

Joshua Crook, age 29, was taken into custody by the Casper Police Department on October 4th. This, after his escape was reported by media on October 3rd.

Natrona County Sheriff’s spokesperson Aaron Shatto said that Crook was at the Casper Re-Entry Center, serving a sentence on on an original charge of Child Endangerment-Methamphetamine.

Law enforcement paperwork also indicates that Leland N. Rohn, who is alleged to have escaped from the Casper Re-Entry Center on October 6th, turned himself back into custody, on the afternoon of October 8th.

Rohn was serving a sentence on and already existing charge of Escape From Official Detention, from Laramie County.

Crook and Rohn were the fourth and fifth individuals to be reported as escaping from C.R.C. in a span of nearly two weeks.

Three other individuals; identified as Wilimena Longtine, Kristofer Counts, and Irene Watkins; were all inmates serving sentences at the Casper Re-Entry Center. All three failed to return from scheduled outings, within 24 hours of each other, two weeks ago.

(UPDATE: 11/2/18)- NCSO officials confirm that Wilemina Longtine has been taken into custody, and is no longer being sought in this matter. Kristopher Counts and Irene Watkins are still at large, and are believed to be together.

As Oil City reported earlier this week, Rohn marked the 21st Escape From Official Detention that the Sheriff’s Office has logged for Natrona County in 2018. Sheriff’s officials confirmed that all of the reported Escapes were from the Casper Re-Entry Center.

This is compared to 17 reports from 2017.

Casper Re-Entry Center is a privately owned residential center.
