CASPER, Wyo. — After a pair of days with conditions that felt downright summery, the National Weather Service in Riverton predicts that Casper could see temperatures fall by more than 20 degrees on Sunday.

Today, the NWS in Riverton reports partly sunny skies are likely. Temperatures should reach a high near 78 degrees, on the heels of a Friday that saw temperatures climb above 80. It should also be a fairly windy day, with north winds growing to roughly 25 mph over the course of the day and possibly gusting at upwards of 35 mph.

At night, conditions are likely to grow cloudy, as temperatures fall to a low around 35 degrees. Winds should remain fairly constant from earlier in the day, the NWS in Riverton reports.

On Sunday, conditions will be much chillier. The day will kick off with a slight 20% chance of snow showers before noon. The day will eventually warm up, but only to a high near 52 degrees. Winds could again see gusts upwards of 30 mph.

After sundown, the NWS in Riverton reports a low temperature of around 26 degrees. Blustery conditions should continue well past midnight.
