CASPER, Wyo. — As Wyoming moves further away from winter and increasingly into spring, temperatures throughout the area continue to rise. This weekend, the National Weather Service in Riverton predicts some fairly comfortable conditions.
Today, The NWS in Riverton reports that the area will see sunny skies and a high temperature near 71 degrees. Wind should be very minimal, reaching light speeds of barely 5 mph.
At night, temperatures will fall to a low of around 41 degrees while skies remain mostly clear.
Sunday likely won’t be as sunny as the day prior, as the NWS in Riverton reports a 40% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms after noon. It will be another warm day, though, with the area seeing a high near 73 degrees.
Skies will likely be mostly clear come sundown, with temperatures falling to a low of around 43 degrees.
