CASPER, Wyo. — On Friday, the National Weather Service in Riverton reported four tornadoes that touched down in its region. Three of these were in Natrona County.
Two of the three tornadoes recorded in the county were near Midwest, and the town was also hit by large hail during the storm.
The other tornado recorded by the NWS in Riverton was in Johnson County, near Kaycee. Much of Johnson and Fremont counties also saw hailstorms throughout the afternoon.
