CHEYENNE, Wyo. — The Salvation Army has worked to better communities throughout the world for 160 years, and 136 in Wyoming. This coming week, the nonprofit will celebrate National Salvation Army Week in Casper with its annual Cowboy Up for Hope event.

The third annual Cowboy Up for Hope fundraiser is scheduled for Wednesday, May 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Barn, 7992 Zero Road.

This year, the fundraiser sports a goal of raising $60,000. People can register or find more details here.

Other statewide events are planned in Cheyenne and Gillette, with nearly a full week of events planned in the state’s capital.
