CASPER, Wyo. — High school students in Natrona County will get a chance to participate in Casper College’s Manufacturing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 12. The event, which will run from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., will connect high school students with Casper-area manufacturers.

Students will tour the manufacturing facilities at Austin Engineering, Granite Peak, High Country Fabrication, Kustom Koncepts, McGinley Manufacturing, Mesa Solutions, Moser Energy, TurnTec, Wyld Gear and Wyoming Machinery. Back at Casper College, students will be treated to lunch before heading back to their respective high schools.

According to the Manufacturing Institute, the day will celebrate Manufacturing Day. MFG Day, an initiative of the Manufacturing Institute — the workforce development and education affiliate of the National Association of Manufacturers — empowers manufacturers to come together and address their collective challenges and build excitement about manufacturing careers to help their communities and future generations thrive.
