A utility pole at the corner of South Ash and West Collins has fallen, according to a release from the Casper Police Department.
Emergency responders and crews from the City of Casper and Rocky Mountain Power responded to reports of the fallen pole around 5:00 a.m. The cause of the broken pole has not been reported.
A fire was extinguished and there are no reports of further damage or injuries, according to the release.
The area will be closed to traffic and pedestrians until around noon today, according to the release.
