A new creative workspace was celebrated with a grand opening at the Natrona County Public Library on Tuesday afternoon.
The space, dubbed the Creation Station, allows individuals and small groups to work on creative and technology projects using shared equipment.
The worktables feature new equipment and software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, a Carvey 3D carving machine, a circuit maker, embroidery and sewing machines.
The space also features STEAM-related (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics) toys and equipment for children.
The space in the overcrowded library building was freed up by the removal of a little-used government documents collection that had been digitized. The space is now where DVDs and videos once occupied, which have been moved to another floor of the building.
The state-of-the-art equipment was acquired all through private donations.
