CASPER, Wyo. — Body art enthusiasts flocked to the Ford Wyoming Center on Saturday afternoon for the second day of the second annual Ink Masters Tattoo Expo.

Approximately 35 vendors from across the country set up booths for attendees to peruse and get tattoos from.

“We’ve got just about every style of tattooing you can think of here,” event organizer Miguel Hernandez said.

Fellow organizer Jo Anna Soto added that all artists at the expo have been vetted by Ink Masters Tattoo Show, the company hosting the expo.

Hernandez said turnout has been strong so far, though he expects it to get even stronger in the coming years as the event grows and becomes an annual occurrence for the community.

Ink Masters Tattoo Show hosts several similar events throughout the country, with one scheduled for next weekend in Montana and another the following week in Colorado.

Today, the expo will continue until 11 p.m. It will conclude on Sunday, beginning at 11 a.m. and continuing until 9 p.m. Tickets are $28. All ages are welcome at the expo, though only those 18 and older are able to receive tattoos.

“I think there’s much less of a stigma around tattoos,” Soto said of the success of tattoo expos. “These aren’t some bad things, they’re pieces of art that artists take a great amount of pride in.”
