CASPER, Wyo. — Interstate 25 is slowly coming back alive after the route between Casper and Cheyenne reopened Wednesday morning.
All of I-25 in Wyoming closed overnight Tuesday as a blizzard moved through the state. As of 10:45 a.m., Casper to Kaycee and southbound Kaycee to Buffalo still remain closed, according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation.
I-80 between Cheyenne and Rock Springs remains closed late Thursday morning, with rolling closures between Rock Springs and Evanston.
Casper Mountain Road reopened early Thursday, according to WYDOT, as did I-90 between Buffalo and Gillette.
The National Weather Service in Riverton says to expect very cold temperatures in Natrona County through today, with overnight lows near zero degrees and windchills as low as minus 20 degrees.
