According to the Associated Press, the National Weather Service has posted a winter storm warning until 6 p.m. for northeast Wyoming, including Gillette, Sheridan and Buffalo.
A winter weather advisory was in effect for central Wyoming, including Casper, Riverton, Worland, Lander and Thermopolis.
The Riverton area had received 2 to 4 inches (5 to 10 centimeters) by Monday morning.
